Quiet Nourishment Co.

Binge Eating, Emotional Eating and Disordered Eating Support

Meet the founder of Quiet Nourishment Co.

Amy Gardiner BSc (Hons), MBPsS

Eating Psychology Practitioner | Advanced Eating Disorders Practitioner (NCFED)

I created Quiet Nourishment Co. because support for food and body struggles shouldn’t be limited to those who meet strict diagnostic criteria. Too many people are dismissed, overlooked, or made to feel ashamed when they reach out for help.

With a background in psychology and advanced training through the National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCFED), I’ve worked with people navigating a wide range of emotional and physical challenges. Again and again, I’ve seen how deeply diet culture, weight stigma, and self‑criticism can shape someone’s relationship with food and their body.

Quiet Nourishment Co. was created as a compassionate alternative to weight‑focused or clinical‑feeling services. My approach is:

  • HAES‑aligned and size‑inclusive

  • Evidence‑based, not diet‑based

  • Compassion‑first and shame‑free

  • Focused on support, not measuring weight or willpower

  • Accessible to people in all bodies and starting points.

I believe in helping people rebuild trust with their bodies, understand their eating patterns, and find a sense of peace that isn’t dependent on numbers, perfection, or pressure.

Support that meets you where you are

Quiet Nourishment Co. offers gentle, evidence‑based support for anyone who feels stuck in cycles of binge eating, emotional eating, or constant battles with food and body image. My approach is rooted in HAES, size inclusivity, and the belief that healing happens through compassion, not control.

Whether you’re looking for structured guidance, flexible self‑paced learning, or personalised one‑to‑one support, you’ll find programs designed to help you rebuild trust with your body and understand your relationship with food.

What to expect

  • My approach blends evidence‑based methods with a compassionate, non‑diet philosophy. Everything is rooted in an understanding of how binge eating, restriction, shame, and stress affect our relationship with food. My programmes offer support that helps you rebuild trust with your body at a pace that feels safe.

  • There are no fixed start dates, or groups. Each programme is designed so you can begin whenever you feel ready. Whether you choose a self‑guided option or a more supported tier, you’ll receive structured weekly content that builds gradually and gently, helping you make meaningful progress without overwhelm.

  • You can choose the level of support that feels right for you. From self‑guided learning, to fortnightly guidance, to personalised weekly one‑to‑one sessions. Each tier offers a different level of support and accountability, but all share the same goal: helping you move toward a calmer, more supportive relationship with food and your body.

"I’ve tried so many things before and always felt like I’d failed. This was the first approach that actually made sense to me. Goodbye diets!"

What makes Quiet Nourishment Co. different

A Non-Diet, Size-Inclusive Approach

I work from a health at every size and non‑diet perspective, which means your worth, health or progress is never measured by weight or appearance. You won’t be asked to follow food rules or chase outcomes that don’t feel right for you. Instead, we focus on understanding your relationship with food, reducing shame and helping you feel more at ease in your body.

Support That Feels Safe and Respectful

Many people come to me after feeling dismissed or judged in other settings. Quiet Nourishment Co was created to be the opposite of that. This is a space where you can talk openly without worrying about being criticised. You’ll be met with warmth, patience and a genuine commitment to understanding your experience.

Flexible Options That Meet You Where You Are

Everyone’s needs are different, so the support I offer is flexible. You can choose a self‑paced programme, a more guided option or one‑to‑one sessions if you want something more personal. There are no set start dates and no strict criteria. You can begin whenever you feel ready.

Frequently asked questions

  • No. You don’t need a diagnosis, referral or to meet any criteria. Many people feel they need support but find they don’t fit the strict NHS thresholds. You’re welcome here whether you’re dealing with binge eating, emotional eating or just feeling exhausted by your relationship with food.

  • No. My work is rooted in a non‑diet, size‑inclusive approach. We don’t focus on weight or appearance, and there are no food rules or targets. Instead, we look at what’s driving your eating patterns and help you build a calmer, more trusting relationship with food and your body.

  • It’s completely fine to feel unsure. If you’d like a bit of guidance before choosing, you can send me a message through my contact page. Tell me a little about what you’re finding difficult and what kind of support you’re hoping for, and I’ll point you in the right direction. There’s no pressure and no commitment needed.
